I was FSA at Decompression in 2012-13. The CQMS doesn't have it tough.

Brief Decomressees on arrival at Bloodhound after their time on the beach, allocate accn blocks. Liaise with the Laundry bloke when needed. Check accn when the Decompressees depart to make sure it's in one piece. Issue Decompression Staff with T Shirts when they first arrive. A wee bit of admin to do.

Pros: Easy day (once your HO/TO is done). Plenty of sunshine. Your own vehicle to scoot about in. Close to beach.
Cons: It's a bit dusty.

Job's changed completely since 2013. No longer at Bloodhound, just 3 staff in total, more multi-tasking and also likely to pick up odd-jobs at Akrotiri Station. Try phoning J1 at HQ BFC if you want more details.
