Covert recce in the Republic - really

It's already been done.....
"Southern Ireland" that's horrific journalism.
Wasn't it 1976 when 8 of Hereford's finest were cut-off and surrounded by 3 Garda south of the border? Utilizing a cunning plan they claimed that they were part of a touring Fijian rugby team and had become temporarily disorientated. They managed to escape and evade and were lucky to make it back in one piece, (albeit with no weapons and a 5000 Pound bail-order each). I think it was called Alpha 2 Zero or summat. Oh how we larfed.
