Corps Mountaineering Association

#1
Are ther enough active mountaineers within the Corps to make the establishment of a Royal Signals Mountaineering Association worthwhile ?
Intent would be to bring together all disciplines within mountaineering (rock, summer and winter mountaineering and alpinism) and promote the participation of Corps personnel in the activities in accordance with JSP 419 and the aims of AT in the Service.
Other Corps (eg RE, REME, AAC), have well established mountaineering associations which seem to make a significant contribution to Army mountaineering but also the individual ethos of the Corps and, most importantly, the development of the individuals.

Keen to gauge opinion, please let me know.
I may stick a similar notice in The Wire.
Thanks

Put me down for that. Would be happy to get involved in the set up and admin too.
