Cornwall to Mongolia. In a Micra.....

Hi everyone. We need your support!

In July 2013, a 3 man team from the Royal Navy will undertake the 10,000 mile Mongol Rally in order to raise money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines charity. Starting at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose in Cornwall and ending at Ulan Baator the capital city of Mongolia. Our vehicle of choice? A Nissan Micra.

Crossing rivers, ravines, mountain ranges, deserts and no less than fifteen national borders, the Mongol Rally is unforgiving, dangerous and unpredictable. And yes, we did say Nissan Micra.

The team are hoping that fundraising efforts will equate to “a pound per mile”. Resulting in over £10,000 being raised for the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC). The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity exists to support serving and former serving Naval Service personnel and their families who are in need, suffering hardship or in distress. This is achieved through grants to the Naval charities which provide through-life care to those whose service might be long behind them .

If you can't afford to donate, it's equally important to us to have your support. If you are on Facebook, please, please like our page as that shows potential sponsors that this piques people's interest and encourages them to help us out.

Want to get involved? Think you can help? We are actively seeking sponsors, fundraisers, kit donations, anything! If you think you or anyone you know may be of assistance we'd love to make you part of our support team.

Thanks folks, it's a long road we've embarked on (see what we did there) but we think we can reach our targets, but only with your help.
All that way to end up somewhere that looks exactly the same!

Good luck tho'! :)
Some fcuking Arab will lose it with you when he gets stuck behind you on his camel in some ******* desert!
Thankyou everyone for your support so far. We are extremely close to hitting our first £1000 already and our own website will be online very, very soon. It would be awesome if we could get our total past £1000 by then, we are only £29 away!

Please donate if you have the spare cash, if not thanks for looking and support us however you can.
