A Contracts Manager (Defence Communications) is required to support the Commercial Manager by managing and administering all contracts, sub-contracts and legal affairs on a large MoD communications program, based in Newport, South Wales.
The ideal candidate will have significant commercial experience within the Defence or Communications industries. Responsibilities will include but not limited to; ensuring contracts, sub-contracts and legal arrangements are commercially sound, legal and ethical, identifying any possible risks to the business, drafting, administering and managing contracts and evaluating new offered contracts.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills as they would be representing the company to external parties such as sub-contractors and Government representatives and assisting in the development of bid strategies. Strong negotiation skills are also imperative in order to agree prices and terms of contracts.
