  1. Hi guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible to become a 'Confirmed Cadet' before taking Main Board ?

Or do they impose a caveat that a confirmed place is on the condition that you pass AOSB ?

  2. You can have a sponsorship confirmed before main board, buy you can't become a 'Confirmed Cadet'. If you could the whole AOSB process would be redundant, would it not?
  3. I believe that the term 'confirmed cadet' just means that it's been decided which regiment/corps the cadet goes to once Sandhurst is completed, ie the regiment has already decided to take them. There was a lad on the TV programme about Sandhurst who was a confirmed cadet for the Blues and Royals but was back-termed.

AOSB still needs to be completed.
  4. Makes sense . Thanks for the clarification !
