Comrades in Iraq at Christmas

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Mods: if I've put this in the wrong place, please move.

Now that Christmas is only a couple of weeks away, maybe it's time to spare a thought or two (or a prayer, even) for all those chappesses and chaps doing a fine, professional job in the sandpit, but who won't be able to make it home and spend Christmas and New Year with their loved ones and friends.
Perhaps we could send a collective "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" from all ARRSE members, just so the lasses and lads know they're not forgotten completely and that we, at least, appreciate them.

(Of course, TCH and Phoney Tony won't be asked to sing up, since they don't give a shite about them anyway!).

  2. Yep agreed :)

But don't forget all the other places as well like Afghanistan

    Btw Merry Christmas
  3. Agreed but would add in all those on ops where ever they may be away from home and family
