Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

Ahh the two Corbyns are catching up at Jezzas pay rise for nurses protest.

Here he is protesting about SKS's propsed purge of the hard left.

Piers Protests Jeremy Corbyn's Expulsion from Labour Party

Red Square, minus his brain which was removed for dissection. Unless you mean Red Len rather than Lenin.
I wonder if he has a mausoleum planned for him?

Maybe the first human exhibit as The Rothschilds stuffed animal museum in Tring, he would literally be rolling in his grave for being a capitalist freak show, or would be if he wasn't a stuffed exhibit

They do seem to have difficulty understanding the fact that XLW politics has never been anything other than a minority cult in the UK. It has been rejected at the ballot box since voting began. Do they honestly think that getting all angry/shouty will change anyones opinion?

Or that they think we should all live in some homogeneous fair and equal society, that we know from several regimes and failed states over the last century, isn't fair or equal by any stretch of the imagination.

The anger is bewilderment spilling over that others don't want to follow their failed dogma and dangerous agenda's.

I still can't understand how we can tolerate and embrace the term Communist, given all the atrocities, oppression and misery surrounding it, yet the word fascist is taboo. Not that I'm suggesting anyone reclaims the fascist term, but Communism should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

Apsama Begum trial scheduled to begin today at Snaresbrook Crown Court....she denies three counts of housing fraud.

A cynic might wonder if events will intervene to push it back, due to something like her or her defence being randomly 'pinged' at the last moment and having to go into isolation.

Even if there is a by election Labour are sitting on a 60% majority there so although it will be embarrassing for Labour if she is found guilty they won't lose the seat.

I don't think it would even be embarrassing, as a fully fitted up victim of the oppressor state's corrupt levers of power she will be elevated to martyr. She'll just take her cue from any number of shysters in her position from Fiona Onasanya to Jacob Zuma.

A guilty verdict will only reinforce the view of the locals of the saintliness of their Robin Hood, and if he existed might well himself have been a murderer and criminal who was re-invented down the years into a "man of the people, for the people and by the people". Some things never change eh?

Only be a by-election if
a. Sentenced to more than 12 months
and/or
b. Is subject to a recall petition like Onasanya in Peterborough.

It would probably be option 2, there is no way Starmer could let her stay if she is guilty, the conservatives would mention it at every opportunity.

True, but just kicking her out of Labour does not free up the seat. However, it would not be hard for the Labour CLP to organise a recall petition.
