Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

Can't give this enough 'likes' and 'excellents' - it's a marvellous deconstruction of the whole creaking edifice...

Frighteningly this seems to be the future being built. Particularly poignant at this time is the bit about people preferring to keep quiet rather than risk a kind of Spanish Inquisition type wrath as sadly shown below.

Even more sadly I imagine the Left will duck any responsibility and blame the Conservatives, such is their twisted hate for the truth and the British public. I genuinely believe they are vile enough to exploit this tragedy for their own ends.

As every single MP who resigned before the last election and stood as a independent (or new parties such as change.org) lost their seat its likely that they will just bump their gums but do **** all else.

Labour MPs don't like to give up their seats easily you know. Fiona Onasanya really stuck to her post, guns and principles (whatever they are) to the the bitter end. You have to admire that kind of gutsy showing, even wearing a tag into the commons, that must have got her big kudos with the gangster types who wear them a badge of honour, none of them ever made it into the heart of government did they, losers the lot of them.

I guess there are many more like her in the Labour Party, here's a list of kindred spirits who were also the victims of injustice. Out of a list of six it is interesting to note that five were from the Labour side of things.

Non Labour types may be inclined to chip into Corbyn's legal fund appeal to add fuel to the fire

Here's an example from today, just accuse with no evidence or even coherent story/detail and that is all that is needed. I think a better response from Warner Bros would have been "BULLSHIT" but they did the right thing. I like the bit where they mention.

"It (Warner Bros) also remains committed to investigating any specific and credible allegation of misconduct, which thus far Mr Fisher has failed to provide."

They won't get that detail though and the SJWs won't care, Warner Bros are now guilty, guilty, guilty.

Win or lose Corbyn's lawyer may be thinking of this

I am from the respectable (I hope) but skilled working class and frankly I just cannot accept the McCluskey/Corbyn ilk as members of that fraternity and sorority! As a patriotic Englishman, I find them both beyond the pale. As for Corbo, what can you say about someone who allegedly admired East Germany such that he toured the place on a lightweight motorcycle with all their camping gear and Dianne Abbott perched on the pillion.

I think the birthday and Christmas present rolled into one here would be McCluskey pulling his union's funds and then finding that Labour are ok financially without them (a long shot I know, but this is still my hope).

Somewhat then like those we have all seen who storm off in a huff with words to the effect that "this company can't survive without me, you'll have to grovel to get me back" then find a week later no-one remembers them and that things continue to tick along just fine.

An amusing take on this all, and all the more amusing that it is spot on.

That article is really worth a read, thanks for the link, it's a corker.

Apologies in advance if you (dear reader) already know this.

I have been a subscriber to Private Eye (PE) for about 30 odd years now. One of the regular features is called 'Rotten Boroughs' which highlights/reveals corruption and bad practice (to say the least) across councils in the UK.

The overwhelming majority are Labour led and 'quell surprise' often in London. The magazine does not always state which party is in power so I often have to Google up councillor X or Y to work it out.

I am sure PE is reticent to always put that rather important bit of info in to try and give the feature more balance but more likely because PE is IMHO left leaning and anti Brexit (Boris grrr) in the main.

But the bottom line is Labour are more corrupt and filled with more bent and incompetent twats than the Tory side. It may be a close call sometimes I grant you but as a pretty normal and average bloke I can work it out. I wouldn't support Labour in their current guise if you put a loaded gun to my head.

And the video clip posted by archimedes at #51,739 should be compulsory viewing. Brilliant.

Has Corbyn ever been enabled ?

From the 1st time I clapped eyes on him at GC, he came across as a walking plank of wood.

Anyway. From the Graun

We should start a book on how many will act on their '' Principles '' and resign.

I'd go for "none" for 500, Alex.

I’ve been thinking that Labour’s most fertile recruiting ground has to be the NHS and the NUT. Even Serwotka has been remarkably silent in all of this. Labour is no longer relevant to the so called working class as they don’t really exist anymore.

The working class now are really people with trades, the white van man to use the cliché, which of course Labour despise with a passion

They want to earn a crust and better themselves, something that should only be for the Politburo not the plebs, according to the Socialist mindset

The non working underclass is what Labour thinks is the working class, but I'd not like to put them in the same boat

Amen. Even now, when faced with a real world that looks nothing like it did even in the 1960s the labour hive- mind simply divides people into "workers (and those who would be workers if they actually had a job) and factory owners (rich elite toffs).
