Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

Loving the picture on the wall of the hands-full of coffee beans.

Is that from his wife's very lucrative coffee business?

I need my eyes testing. I initially thought it was a picture of Diane Abbott on a bed leaning over whilst wearing ( and I can barely type this) a negligee. Ugh pass the mind and eye bleach.

Sir Keir was fairly blunt about his party’s prior electoral performance…

“The Tories have had as many election winners in five years, as we’ve had in 75”

Well, being a millionaire himself, he must mean Zionists and billionaires.

The thing that sits under all of this is that none of what happened - including a huge majority for the Conservatives - was, in his eyes, his fault.

Carry that through if he'd become leader of this country. Leadership requires to things: actually leading and an ability to take responsibility.

Corbyn cannot or will not. That, I think, would eventually have been his undoing.

The thing is like all dictators or wannabee dictators they absolutely loathe any advice put before them, they know the truth and anyone who disagrees is to be shut down, one way or another. Of course this means that everything they dictate turns to crap, but as they are infallible the fault lays elsewhere. Pick any one of the examples (from history or the present) and every one of them took no time at all in scapegoating someone or group.

They think themselves leaders but in reality they are utter failures. Time always tells and that has caught up with Magic Grandpa big time. Before his elevation to the top he could be the big fish in his little cesspit of a pond, he was never going to be able to step up when the time came (and went) so off he goes, bitter and twisted and still blaming others. What a loser.

From that link, own up, which ARRSEr is it?
"Allegedly there is a video circulating of Steptoe and his brother Piers Spit Roasting Abbotpotamus, whilst Kneel Stammer assists in a random, alternating Tea Bagging of the three perps.
Enjoy your evening meal (hopefully Cumberland Sausage and Whelks) with that image firmly printed in your mind."

We can probably narrow the field of suspects down to a mere 200 members of Arrse, I suspect...

Corbyn reverting to type and ignoring Labour leader's instructions.

Joined by all the other Momentum MPs. Sir KS should take this opportunity and remove the whip then throw them out of the Labour Party. Won't happen, but Labour is now officially two Parties.

The gentle man of the people grubbing little autocrat who wouldn’t stand dissent when he was in charge, that one?

This makes it very difficult for SKS, who was bandying the word 'patriotism' around the other day.

Corbyn should perhaps remember this vote when he next opines over why he lost the election.

(Or, like every other turd, he could just do us the favour of swirling away around the U-bend....)

Perhaps he's keeping his powder dry for the 'uman rights report on Labours antisemitism to be made public. Then he can purge all the momentum members and emerge as a bright, shining Labour 'under new management'.

Or spend the last of the unions' money on saying sorry.

Corbyn was a poison and, like many truly virulent poisons, the patient may have been 'cured' in the immediate sense by his removal but there is long-lasting and maybe even permanent damage.

It's quite useful to have a coterie of 'enemy within' so long as they're properly corralled. Then you can make a public show of attacking them whenever you need to 'appear strong' or show that 'the party has changed...'. It's the political equivalent of canned hunting.

Quite. The problem for SKS is that they were allowed to occupy the centre of the party for a while. They're not going back to the margins quietly.

He was one of the people allowing them to occupy the centre ground(although they would be insulted with 'centre'), a senior one in fact!

That will get Magic Granpa and the Momeentumites in a quandary, they really love a purge but they don't want to be on the receiving end of one

You just know Magic Granpa will be tutting going we won the argument we should be purging you
