Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

I'm surprised he's not wibbling about it being vital to form a Government of National Unity now Boris is sick.
He told 'laura' this morning that he was right in the last election about under investment and people were wrong to ridicule him and that the country was totally unprepared for the Virus. I have an open message for Jeremy: 'There was not a single country in the planet Earth that was prepared for the virus' - were they all wrong.....and you right? You are talking rubbish mate.........as usual.'

At a point when any sane and competent politician of whatever persuasion should be standing with the elected government and offering their assistance....what is Corbyn doing? His usual juvenile trot ranting !!!

Watch this space, Grandad is an 'umble little man who will very 'umbly offer himself as the stand in Prime Minister (for life) in the national interest of course.
To be fair he has got a lot to be humble about

Is this the start of his rebranding as a elder statesman and cudley national treasure (like the other Commie clown and charlatan, 2nd Viscount Stansgate). Note the comments at the end about being let down by others? shades of a Berlin bunker 1945?

Get the beer and popcorn in for 4 Apr his final address to the faithful at the handover could be the mother of all rants.
The man is not only deluded but dangerous and deluded .... the sooner he steps back from front line Politics the better ... for the Nation and as an example of the law of unintended consequences regrettably for the Labour Party. The Nation has , by an " Event ... dear boy ... event " , been forced , hopefully for a short period ,effectively into a type of War Economy mode

You have unwittingly provided the first sentence of the next (whenever that might be) Labour Chancellor's first Budget. "In the event (of, that........................"

It was a play on Harold MacMillan's famous alleged statement on how Governments are truly tested ..... by " Events dear boy events " .

Eh?

You must be growing it under glass then, chap.
Not at all . Just three plants in a fairly sunny spot near my compost bins . Have another 12 stalks ready to pull tomorrow for another two people that have requested some . I grow it but don't eat much of the stuff so plenty to give away .

I'm not sure if Laura is being patronising or just being kind to an old man being put out to pasture:

Whatever she is doing, this is a damming cap on Corbyn's career and leadership. I almost get the feeling she could not believe what she was hearing!

Bloke in the next road to me has been putting some out the front of his for sale at a £1 for a few sticks for a couple of weeks now . Plus one of the daughters has some ready at hers .
We are in East Anglia so may be warmer than where you are .

A man who can see only one view - his.

Leopards and spots.

He's in the twilight of his career. He's achieved less than bugger-all. His political epitaph is an 80-seat Conservative majority. He probably needs the level of cognitive dissonance he has now or he'd top himself. He could hardly get more bitter.

The deluded old fool aught to be pensioned off now before he does any further harm to this country .
