Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

It was singularly graceless. Corbyn is normally reasonably polite, if nothing less.
Bollocks! He likes to come across as some sort of elderly statesman, but as soon as he is asked a difficult question that he can't deflect, side step, or avoid, his lack of intellect shines though.

Corbyn is one of the most graceless bitter creatures ever to be an MP, so many flaws. Even his own party are voting him the worst leader ever.

Pretty accurate but irrelevant to my post, which said he is generally polite.

Never met him, apparently he's really quite charming in person. Especially on the allotment.

It would just feel wrong to see Corbyn and Leader on the same plaque

I can't imagine him leading himself out of a paper bag, let alone coping with a national emergency like Boris is

Ah, but hang on.

Corbyn is describing BoJo's financial solutions for the Covid-19 outbreak as a hijacking of his General Election ideas for addressing the 'emergency' of austerity.

What he doesn't grasp is that the amounts of money he was prepared to give away on a given, normal day are what BoJo is releasing in a time of real emergency. So, there's no comparison.

That really is the point: he does not have the ability to understand the difference.

Many of Corbyn's 'emergencies' aren't because of an unjust society but because of individuals' poor decisions.

Austerity isn't the result of Tory parsimony it's the result of Labour profligacy - something else he doesn't grasp.

This is a man obsessed with the 'oppressed', his inference/starting point being that all must be the fault of 'The Establishment'.
In short, he is a tw@t?

You make an excellent, point, all the major, life or death, declarations of war or important fiscal decisions of the last few century’s were improved by allotment etiquette.

Did he have the allotment during his first two marriages or while he had his affair with Abbott?

Osama Bin Laden was described by an Australian who met him as 'polite', 'humble' and 'shy'........no mention of gardening, but he did have a balcony........apparently.

Sorry, but the stand up screaming match Abbott had with one of Corbyn‘s wives in Corbyn’s house was a real hot potato of a story at the time.

The mass resignations from the shadow cabinet after Corbyn became leader also showed he had completely failed to grasp the carrot and stick approach to man management.

aaaaand, despite sticking up for the poor and claiming to be a socialist it’s rumoured that Corbyn has the highest celery in the Labour party.

It was said he knew his onions, but they were found to be zealots.
His politics encroached on his deciduous arboretum too, lots of trees but for the many not the yew.
