Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

The 'Like' is not for the subject matter of your post but for posting as you did. The governments of the past 3 - 4 decades have a lot to answer for.

It is worth noting how well the country is doing without any or very little government during this Brexit Hoo-Ha.
I don't understand your point - at least, not in relation to house prices. It was Labour's incompetence and greed which led to the run on property values.

Because the streets of Londonistan are paved with gold. Or at least they are compared to some of the sh1itholes these people are coming from.

More likely because we are a soft touch, possibly the softest. There are charities here that specialise in helping these "gimmegrants", helping them claim all the benefits possible and offering free legal aid. You've only got to remember the scores of idiots rocking up at the Calais camps to offer them help to get here and of course the ships that cruise the Med, picking up so called refugees and bringing them to Europe.
IMHO these are all illegal acts and the organisations should be closed & all their assets seized & activists punished! 'What if they arrest me?': the legal teams saving people from unfair deportation
Help Refugees - Donate and Volunteer - Calais, Greece & Beyond

That may entitle you to one vegetarian sausage a week at the reeducation camp when/if "Labour" gets in.
Isn't one turnip good enough for you ?

If it's good enough for Dear Leader for life Jeremy Corbyn, it should be good enough for you

1/2 rations, and double shifts in the salt mines for you, for suggesting anyone should aspire to a sausage

My point is I don't 'like' the way house prices have been manipulated but I do 'like' the fact you posted about it and how you did so.

This will probably stir up some adverse comment, but I used to buy the Big Issue on a regular basis until it was pointed out the reason so many BIs are now being sold by persons of a dusky hue was because if they get a BI patch they are considered to be working so can claim benefits. Not sure how that works with Universal Credits but having a job opened up the person to housing and many other benefits. John Bird actually wrote an article for BI explaining this I believe.

The original idea was and still is great. Gives people a job, hope and some self respect back when they have money in their pocket that they have earned. When it is used as social engineering of a different type then I am out.

Yes, and there are the back stories about homeless people being driven off their patches by organised gangs of Eastern Europeans in particular, and of the 'replacements' being dropped off in groups by vans to spend the day prevailing upon people's goodwill.

There is a Romanian BI seller in my town, he only rocks up a couple of days a week outside Waitrose. Allegedly he parks his BMW well away from the store and as many of the mugs I see on Saturday when I am inside enjoying my free coffee & checking out the milf's, actually refuse to take the crap paper & just give him cash, mainly £5 or £10 notes, he is probably claiming income support as well as he doesn't get through many papers.

Whither indeed for the Labour Party?
Momentum announces drive to help Labour members deselect MPs | Momentum | The Guardian

This will start a few choccy starfish twitching.

But let's look at this. Many on these forums have been complaining about professional politicians many of whom have never had a 'real' job so perhaps this will kick off a change in this.

Of course it may just herald a start of the Revolution brother/sister/or chosen gender.

Professional MP is far preferable to professional unemployed Marxist campaigner though...

Your name is going on ze List! Vat ist your name?
I have “grandfather rights” to be on such lists. It runs in the family.

Theresa May was two years into her job as home secretary when she told the Telegraph in 2012 her aim “was to create here in Britain a really hostile environment for illegal migration”.
I don't have a problem with that. Or with legal migration of people who want to work in and contribute to the UK. As my ancestors did, and as I do.
