Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

He was just being polite! Honest Jeremy is always polite, well at least to the right (his version of the right of course) sort of people.
They can't help themselves though it seems
"A Labour Party Spokesperson claimed he was endorsing the speaker’s call for a free and peaceful Palestine, saying: “Jeremy Corbyn has a long and principled record of solidarity with the Palestinian people and he attended this public meeting to show his support for peace and justice in the Middle East. He and the Labour Party support a two state solution to the conflict, with a secure Israel alongside a secure and viable Palestinian state”. I wonder how many times the word final was tippexed out.
Labour does seem to like final solutions

My concern is Im now probably on a watch list somewhere after the amounts of googling for hitler quotes videos.
Why 'probably'?

Change is a foot. It's not just the Tories who are in trouble;

Same thing happened in Sunderland on Saturday apparently.
I met her a few times during my student days and before the "Doris Karloff" days. Also got drunk with her once in Coventry Polytechnic student union (at least I got drunk - sorry Ann). A genuine person. Had her foibles but was pretty grounded. After New Labour, the Coalition and then the current shambles, a sensible northern audience will at least give the time of day to a sensible politician, regardless of party.

As an example, watch the episode of Question Time from Bishop Auckland last year, where a Labour audience cheered Jacob Rees-Mogg and booed the Chairman of the Labour Party.

I think that the north is finally starting to realise that Labour isn't the party of the working man.

I'm more interested in the colour and texture of my dogs shiit as I care about her welfare and diet but I wa struck by a post someone made regarding the current shadow cabinet and particularly, the 'Shadow Secretary of State for Defence', one Nia Griffith Nia Griffith MP

It's in their DNA:
Expenses[edit]
In June 2009, Griffith was named as one of the Welsh MPs whose expenses had been overpaid. Following a review of expenses Sir Thomas Legg ordered Griffith to repay £4,099.77 in mortgage interest claims.[12]

In June 2010, Griffith had to repay the cost of sending 71 letters having been found to have breached Parliamentary rules on using House of Commons stationery for political purposes. The Department of Resources ruled that the letters, sent out just before the general election, "sought to communicate information about the Labour Party and that its intention was to persuade constituents to vote accordingly for the sitting party member". Griffith also apologised for her actions.[

I'm just surprised it wasn't blamed on the Jews
It seems some big boys did it, and ran away. What I struggled with was one bit where it said that it was staff members who were responsible for doing this, and a subsequent bit where I said the poor staff members couldn't be blamed, as it wasn't their fault. It seems it's the fault of the workers, but only a few.

Another resignation from Labour, citing Corbyn and anti-semitism. Bridget Prentice no longer recognises the party she joined 45 years ago and suggests it changes it's name.

Whilst I admire her stance on anti-Semitism, I also note she's another one who can't differentiate between Europe & the EU, or concerns over migrant workers & racism.
She comes across as a bit of a wet lettuce really & matches my sister's tendency towards airy-fairy socialism.

Yet another resignation of an MP I’ve never heard of! I know there are 650 of the buggers, but there seems to be a lot of ‘filler’ on both sides of the house. Whatever happened to the promised reduction of MPs?

It would result in a redrawing of (some) constituencies - This is now portrayed as Tory Gerry mandering - despite the fact the reforms were 1st proposed under Blair** - but not acted on for some unknown reason.
The current set up favours Labour as they are unbalanced in size - Redrawing them would result in everyone's vote being equal but as this removes Labours advantage - this is unfair - It is correct to have unbalanced constituencies if it helps keep the Tories out of power - attempts at equality must be stopped if the wrong result risks being obtained .

**They have been reviews since and some fettling

The boundary changes reducing their number have to come into effect before the next GE & all the work has been done in readiness.
Unfortunately for me, it means I'll once again be in a "red rosette on a pig" constituency.
You can check what if any effects it will have on your constituency online.

Private Eye has some interesting stuff on Corbyn & Co. staff leaving have collated emails and what’s app messages about defending the true believers against charges. This being done by the Corbyn inner circle, Murray and Lens mistress etc.

It does all sound like some Soviet politburo, the hoard is being passed to the investigating team looking in to Labour and anti semitism
