Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

John McDonnell sounds more sinister and smug by the day. Opening his key note speech (the BBC’s description, not mine), he praised his great friend and leader, Jeremy, for showing great dignity in the face of continued harresment from the right wing media. ‘Dignity’ - the irony meter exploded in the first minute of his address.
Apparently, we have lived through 8 years of horrendous Tory imposed austerity since 2010 - no mention of the fact the coffers were actually empty when the last Labour shower were deservedly kicked out of office.
The cult of personality on display in Liverpool is, in my humble opinion, truly terrifying and it’s possible a combination of the likes of fruit loops like Ian Bone and youngsters far too naive and unaware of past history that may see this shower across the line and into Government.
McDonnell as Chancellor and Abbott as Home Secretary anyone?
The Tories need to unify and stop bickering in order to see this lot off.

Liverpool is well known for supporting left wing fuckwits. As you would expect from the lazy, workshy, benefit grasping, pikey professional victims that they are.

The anti semitism row is pushed by the dead sea predestination fan club as they cant face a british pm who doesnt think israel should continue running a ******* ghetto
To be fair, it's largely the PA themselves through their highly competent "elected" representatives of Hez and Hamas who have ensured they live in a ghetto. Primarily through their own inability to stop lobbing HE over the wire or stabbing the nearest RSP whenever the mood takes them.

Strangely, those of Arab descent who live within the Israeli state and don't indulge in these proclivities tend to have a much better quality of life in every way.

I've said it before,I'll say it again.
McDonnell is a nasty piece of work and is far more dangerous than Comrade Cob.

Isn't that just a stealth tax? Also is that total of shares to 10%, or each worker gets up to 10%? Does he even know, and has he thought this idea through in a critical way? Find out tomorrow in the next exciting episode of Car Crash news stories!
Seems to be that 10% of a company will end up "owned" by workers (initially).
Each worker will get a dividend (bonus) up to a maximum £500.
How that payout will be decided was not explained. Whether time served, in post on pay day or...........
Anything left will go to government funds.
A stealth tax, yes. A bribe a la student fees?

That may also help with the whole Brexit thing.
Problem is, while the Brexit wrangle continues the Tories have little opportunity to focus on other matters.
It is Labour's best interests to keep the Brexit pot bubbling, while they devise their fiendish plots.
Worst thing for Labour would be a resolution to Brexit.

These 'magical' companies will leave in droves.

Aye.Where did the notion of general election within two months come from I wonder?

"...to secure for the workers by hand or brain the full fruits of their industry"

This is the same party that insists on the mediocritisation of education, the perpetuation of dependence upon the state and scorns social mobility.

It's possible to gain those fruits if 1) one is motivated and 2) the means of access are facilitated.

Whom are the 'workers' to which he refers? I bet many don't.

Charlatan.

Would they go for protection to the EU?
The solution will be simple like Amazon et al, they will register in countries with a less stringent tax regime.

However this is all sound bites/promises for the hard of thinking.

The real question which no Labour voter will ask themselves, what did a New (Moderate) Labour government achieve in 13 years of government? Apart from a massive amount of debt, so what will a Momentum (Communist) Labour government achieve?

Paradise comrade.

I was fortunate that when I retired my main Company Pension was Final Salary and index linked although some of my others were based on Pension Pots . It just strikes me that McDonnell's Dividend for workers concept like Brown's innovative private Pensions attack when Labour last came to power will drive down Share prices and thus the Pension Pots of millions of ordinary working people .

I have developed over many years a reasonably sized investment portfolio ... I like many other ( small ) private investors can only look forward with trepidation to McDonnell's proposals .

I see you've finally crawled back, presumably having overcome the shock of seeing the mean streets and general dystopia of rural Shropshire where your beloved leader grew up. I'll post it again just so you can revere the bucolic idyll within which true Socialist fervour is forged:

All of which is irrelevant to the topic of an implied coup.
