I heard McDonnell on this theme last year as the article mentions. I thought he was getting his excuses in early for when the economy goes tits up, seems like they are all lining up behind this as not a risk but a certainty.
Frankly those with the money will no doubt be able to afford shelter from the storm, the rest of us will have to weather it as best we can. Venezuela, Zimbabwe, North Korea; any socialist paradise you care to pick will be our model and our future, but not to worry, as Momentum and assorted chums will tell us it is all someone else's fault. Very comforting.
Would that be the Venezuelan Bolivar that currently trades at 1 Bolivar to 0.0000075 Pound Sterling? Or 1 Bolivar to 0.000010 United States Dollar? Or, to put it another way, you'll need 1,326,796.65 Bolivars for a tenner.
