Comrade Corbyn to the fore - whither (or wither) the Labour Party?

Oh, I do hope that the Liarbor take over/infiltration by those Momentumite knobheads and political-Lickspittles who want to worship Jezza and turn him into some sort of Socialist 'Hero' like Lenin, continue their 'cluster-f**k' of that party.

Personally, I think john Mcdonnal will be the next Labour Party leader, he looks like a grim faced Stalinist of old, the sort of picture you would have glowering down at you like the old time Communist states. Corbyn looks too gentle, an old time hippie from the 1970s. Female party leaders - not a hope at the moment, not with someone like Diane Abbott or Emily Thorberry. There is an alleged whiff of 'misogyny' in the current Labour Leadership. A female Party leader would be far too much of a reminder of La Thatcher, or the current lady leader of the Conservatives, theresa May.

Many years ago, the Hard left tried to take over the Labour Party and they were seen off. However it put Labour into the political wilderness for 18 years whilst the Much Loved, and Highly Regarded Maggie 'T' and her handbag ran the country.

I have a feeling that at the next General election, whenever, that Corbyn, McDonnal and 'Momentum' will take Labour back to the same place as Foot and Neil Kinnochio took it all those years ago when they were party leaders. But this is just my reading of things, strange things can happen in politics. "History often Repeats Itself"

'Momentum', whose leader/founder is an avowed Marxist, is bent on deseletcing targetted constituencies from moderate, middle of the road Labour MPs if they can, and put heir own Placemen/Women/Personnages forward as candidates. This may work, but only if those Millenial and Snowflake generations still are starry eyed over Corbyn, swallow all the blandishments and policial garbage in the next Labour published manifesto - 'Promise much, Deliver Nowt' - "Free Beer, Drugs, ciggies, Lardburgers and Sex for all on the NHS!"

Oh dear, I am just a tad cynical about the current Labour Party and its agendas. (appologies if I have repeated myself in anoher post)

Will the snowflakes still vote for Labour when they see Corbyn forced to retire and some even more extreme left wing takes over ?

I'm not sure myself, they dropped their Millfandom in a heart beat after Milliband became a non entity ex Labour leader, perhaps they will do the same with Corbyn and vote for The Quartermaster once a new Momentum meme has been created for him

At what point will UNITE start to get a bit annoyed that their chosen candidates are being done over for Momentum backed looneys?

It's not called that anymore. There's the insidious concept of a "universal income", which basically means the state pays everyone a minimum (not necessarily the same as small!) amount, to promote general wellbeing etc etc. No prizes for guessing who pays for this largesse.........

Actually the main reason this won't get off the ground is that in all the papers I've seen on this is that it has to be revenue neutral. I.e. people on benefits which exceed the UI will see them reduce to pay for those on no benefits.

This has actually been trialled but there's very limited analysis of the social benefit and no evidence whatsoever that it could be acceptable without a mahousive increase in the budget.

But then again if you promise to rob Peter to pay Paul, then you'll always have the votes of Paul.

Has anyone asked Lady Nugee aka, Emily Thornberry MP. What is to happen to her poor old husband if Labour (under Corbyn and McDonnell) get in?
I'm not sure whether her husband's title is hereditary, or whether he bought it but merely having said title should mean that he'd have to be put up against the wall too.
After all; all's fair in love and communism ain't it?
Perhaps Bugsy - if he ain't banned from this thread, can answer it for me.

Corbyn has the cuddly socialist grandfather appeal to the youth. NO other leader on the Labour left has this appeal. HOwever, so long as the next replacement is not Mcdonnell or Abbott, the loss in youth/anti establishment vote will be more than made up for the returning labour voters who were turned off by Corbyn.

As much as I'd like to believe that Corbyn's labour lot are unappealing to whatever is the welsh version of the english 'white van man' history tells us that the welsh will always vote for anyone other than the hated tories.
Expecting the welsh to vote for anything other than labour is like expecting scousers to start reading the Sun Newspaper. It ain't gonna happen.

I read a lot on here about how Corbyn and his allies will soon be found out, in fact it seems it's been like that since he was elected as Leader. I'm now so far from believing that Labour will collapse it's starting to really worry me for the future of the country because mainsteam Labour have given up. It seems the country may soon be governed by London and Liverpool with little reference to anything else.

really? They are doing quite well in the Welsh assembly and with Neil Mac and Lord Ellis leaving Plaid The Tory/UKIP group is the next largest to Labour. Welsh labour are doing enough damage with out the help of JC.

Go back and prepare for power. I think besides the quite tory we now also have the quiet centre labour voter.
