i joined up in sept 2004 at 16. i'm going to be 22 in a few weeks time, this being 4 years from my 18th (Reckonable Service) i was wondering if i was entitled to any sort of commitment bonus as someone said to me there was one avaliable at the 4 year point?

Also, i just recently got married, do not have a quarter as i have my own house which i pay for. i currently recieve the Get You Home allowance. I live in the SLA during the week and travel home on weekends. am i entitled to married unaccompanied too?

  2. If your reckon able service start date was after 01 Apr 2005 (18th birthday in your case) then you are on the CB 09 scheme which entitles you to take a bonus at 4 year point if you wish worth £3750 before tax. However, ask your admin office for the DIN as depending on how long you wait to take your bonus(es) depends on the value i.e. if you wait to your 8 year point you can apply for a £15,000 bonus.
