A new title from another ARRSER (remember "Stumpy") - this time by Iain Reid - ex Scots Guards, Kent Constabulary and some other ploddy lots - and finally into training the Iraqi police on behalf of MoD, and security duties in Afghanistan.
A really good service autobiography of someone who can say "I've been there, and I've done that."
Bloody well written and with lots of lovely pix for gun, vehicle and aircraft buffs as well as a few of the man himself.
A few sad bits, many funny bits, and one or two really hilarious bits.
Reviewer wanted please.
Price not yet sorted but around the £25.00 mark as a hardback.
Will be published in the new year as soon as we can get the printers out of their pits and back to their keyboards.

Of course A-Y - PM me please with email address for a copy

It will have to be electronic as we haven't even type set it yet - not that that will take too long.

Having sampled ACAB's literary style on here (IRA bombing) then this will be going on the 'must buy' list.

I have seen a pre publication proof and he lead an interesting life (until he joined ARRSE! :) ). It is worth a punt and just to put your minds at rest BounceBanana/KnockKnee does not feature!

Well done ACAB and David I'll buy a copy.
I'd love to write a book but I'd probably get struck off.
Hmmnn, good point. Lets see how many days after publication it takes before I get an early morning knock (At least I hope they knock!)

Whatever happened to the comic book version of the Adventures of Stumpy?

I'll probably get a copy of this one too, will there be any signings in local branches of Bargain Booze?

Sent by carrier pigeon using Speckled Jim
