    The Combat Stress in Scotland Autumn Lecture

    The Falklands War with guest speaker Brigadier Ian GardinerThe Merchants' Hall, Edinburgh - Thursday 25th October 2012


    Brigadier Ian Gardiner, author and former Royal Marine, will share some of his fascinating experiences from the Falklands War.

    After a distinguished military career culminating in his appointment to Secretary to the Military Committee at NATO headquarters, Brigadier Gardiner now speaks on leadership and is an author of military history including The Yompers, published earlier this year, which describes a fighting Royal Marine's perspective of the Falklands War with 45 Commando.

    The lecture takes place in the heart of Edinburgh at the magnificent Merchants' Hall and includes a pre-lecture reception with drinks and canapés.
