Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone know if Colin was on board?

  2. Theyve been showing his picture on the news most the afternoon but all thats been said is that they think two people was on board but cant confirm this due t how bad the wreckage was. The bad sign is that over the last few hours no-one has come on to say he wasnt on board. Sad news

  3. Report says no victims will be named until tomorrow.

Mcrae does have a pilots licence.

  4. Very sad news.

  5. Lets hope he was not on board not after also losing Richard Burns a few years ago :(

  11. RIP. Sad loss to a great sport.

Edited to add strange that neither the websites of the BBC and Skynews are saying he died in the crash, just that the helicopter was registered to him.

  12. Excellent golfer in his day. :)

  13. RIP Colin you were a true Scot, my son.
