8 months for possession? Is that in a civvy nick or Colchester?

A civvy in the same situation would've got a caution unless there was intent to supply.

My very ex flat mate was caught twice and cautioned both times for possession of chang.

Obviously Lance Warrant Trooper of Donkey Bloggs is not fit to serve, but 8 months inside seems a bit harsh to be honest.

Got to be more to it I reckon, that's one hefty term for the 'possession', it must have been a sh1t load of it.

He was done on three charges. It does seem OTT for a civvie court, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if he got 8 years.

Looks like a cunt and sounds like one:

Mr Lownds said Cooper had been hit hard by the 2003 death in Iraq of his pal Karl Shearer. Cooper and Karl's widow Suzie then formed a relationship and planned to wed...

Lets see, GCM, SNCO Drugs........mind your fingers. To say he compromised himself and his subordinates is an understatement. He got off lightly IMHO.

Cooper was supplied by another member of the unit, which escorts the Queen on ceremonial occasions, a court martial was told yesterday.

Not sure how much blame the skypilot and scablifter can take on this - unless there's evidence that he was spoken at by his CoC and padre/MO?

Oh dear, try JNCO, he is (was) a Lance Corporal of Horse

Edited for wiki link

Wiki said:
Lance Corporal of Horse = Corporal: Three chevrons with cloth crown above
Lance Corporal: Two chevrons with metal crown above
Technically, Lance Corporal of Horse is an appointment rather than a rank: a new Household Cavalry corporal is automatically and immediately appointed lance corporal of horse (LCoH), and is referred to as such thereafter.
