Coalition re-shuffle: another chance for a lying thief to join the Cabinet.

#21
Tsk. How many more times? If you wish to discuss a low-life self-serving snot gobbling thief like David Laws MP, then put David Laws MP in the thread title. Thus anybody doing a search on David Laws MP will find ARRSE Enlightenment a couple of places below the shallow gits polished turd of a website.

Be interesting to see how many more chinless shallow gits CMD can cram into one cabinet. In this year of Olympic glory I feel he may be trying for a record.
Top tip. Sorted. In part.

On a related note - he is a topical joke that I liked (from Guido)

Why did George Osborne get booed by 80,000 people?
Because that’s the maximum capacity of the Olympic stadium…

Speaking of shits, I see that model of truth and honest - Jeremy Hunt - has just got a de-facto promotion.

In my world, the little shit would be on the back benches for not demonstrating personal integrity while Culture and Media Secretary.

I couldnt agree more, but what does our Prime Minster do? Fcuking promote the cnut to a position where he can really do some damage. Lansley was incompetent as Health Secretary, in that he was faceless, cowardly, conniving and dishonest. I dont think there are many NHS employees who wont be sorry to see him go. I personally would like to see Lansley being put into a meat grinder but I suppose I have to be content with the twat just being sacked.

Far, far worse is Hunt. Fcuk me, what are we in for now with the NHS? PR bullshit and riproaring privatisation? You fcuking betcha. Hunt should have been sacked. He is a proven liar and Cameron's favourite clagnut. What more does one need for a health secretary? Some knowledge of the health service? Lansley had that knowledge, he just didnt care what damage he did to it. Smiler Hunt has probably never seen the inside of an NHS hospital but to be sure he will do some photocalls at A&E departments around the country making serious faces and pretending to care whilst introducing his friends from Atos, Capita, Virgin Health and Kaiser Permanante.

There is a bigger and more incompetent ****** associated with healthcare, and that is Peter Carter. Now that man has hypocrisy as his middle name, spineless, posturing, backstabbing egotistical **** who puts all the other union leaders to shame as he expects everything from his position but wont take any action whatsoever in support of nurses. I tried to read his comments on BBC news about Hunt being HS but had to vomit after the first sentence. There is no disease known to medical science that is so nasty I would not wish on him. Personally I wish he gets them all. I also wish that he infects Hunt with the nastiest ones.

Apparently, this is the wealthiest and most privileged Cabinet in British political history.
Reportedly 85% of the Cabinet are Millionaires - so remember folks, 'We're all in this together'
That in itself doesn't bother me. Anyone of sufficient calibre to take the reigns of the country should be a millionaire.

unless they are more interested in doing right than nest feathering. as it stands people on far lower rungs in pay and society could do a much better job in organising the country than those in power.

I couldnt agree more. Dr Hamish Meldrum is the sort of doctor to look up to. Dr Peter Carter really needs to be put in the Clinical Waste bag.

Not those who inherit surely?

My take is that Lansley had nothing else left to do - the Health & Social Care Act does not need a Secretary of State to supervise it and the privatisation will unfold from November (when the 'Any Qualified Provider' clause takes effect) of its own accord. Expect Lansley to take up a nice directorship when he returns to the back benches.

Hunt is a good cheerleader for corrupt ******* with a vested interest in franchises and public tendering (ref. News Corp). So the perfect man for Health really. I agree it is a disaster promoting him. He is widely despised and is really not a good public face for the NHS. If Cameron thinks Hunt is getting any public credit for the Olympics my opinion is the man is delusional. The only politician I have seen who has evoked a genuinely positive public response for the Olympics is Lord Coe.

Ken Clarke was a good counterweight to that inept authoritarian bint Theresa May, shamefully an alumnus of my Oxford college - an even worse product than myself I fear. Clarke was pro-Europe/Human Rights. I know these views aren't popular on ARRSE but it pays to have a diversity of viewpoints at the top. Instead we've got Grayling, who I've met, and who is an idiot. He is another May-esque 'enforcer' who despises the inconveniences of individual rights and is convinced the courts upholding the rights of individuals constitutes "interference".

David Laws is a weasel, slimy sack of shit. According to him, it is a defence under the Fraud Act to demonstrate that you enjoy man love and want to keep it a secret. Try doing that as a benefits claimant and seeing what response you get from the Magistrate. A swift escort to a prison cell I rather suspect. People like him really do provide a sad example that government commands no moral basis for the obedience by its subjects of its laws (no pun intended).

IDS refusing Justice is being said in the media to be "weakness" - hardly a fair description I reckon.

For each and every word you have posted, I agree wholeheartedly!

We've got new Ministers after Nick Harvey resigned today. Looks like half of our Ministers are now with less than a years experience. Huzzaah!

But of the 6 ministers, 2 are former Army officers (including 1 ex-SF), 1 ex-TA officer and one ex-regular RN surgeon-commander still serving RNR. Improvement over the last lot I think...Lack of political experience perhaps, but more military experience than any recent ministerial team, no?
