Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Sadly Cliff Morgan, the legendary Cardiff, Welsh and British Lions fly half, died yesterday. Apart from being a great Fly half, he went on to work as a commentator and broadcaster for many years at the BBC. He was probably the first product of Max Boyces legendary "fly half factory" along with other legends such as Barry John and Jonathon Davies.
  2. He was a real pleasure to listen to, unlike so many of the current monosyllabic and cliché-ridden selection of 'Alan Partridges'.
  3. Met him in Aldergrove on a Monday morning (1984?) - he was still pissed from a Saturday dinner. A proper gentleman and now I think about it he was built like a brick loo. Super commentator.
