Correct spelling for "Faugh au ballagh" "Clear the way", I believe.
Google wont tell me.
Then you are an internet spastic.
Thank you Smudge.
You're correct, I am. But I stumble along as best I can.
"Faugh a ballagh" is an anglicised version of the Irish/Gaelic phrase "Fág an bealach" which literally translates as "Leave the way". The pronunciation of the phase would differ depending on what part of Ireland you're from - some would emphasise the "ach" end of the word "Bealach" and other parts wouldn't and regional accents would affect it as well. Someone from Belfast chatting away as gaelige would sound a lot different to someone from Mayo.
