Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Can anyone tell me how to make clear ice cubes?

I know that it is the air in the water that makes them cloudy but how do I get rid of it?
  2. Use boiled water.

Jesus ******* Christ. What sort of Christmas guests are you inviting?

"Well, the atrium was a dream and what they have done with the Bastille is just too fabulous for words. The outdoor lighting was sublime but at around ten bells I noticed the ice in my gin was CLOUDY Hortense! We shall never darkenn their doors again!"

Give yourself a ******* slap, do.

Just use some Foxes Glacier Mints, no one will notice, for even Polar Bears are fooled into thinking they are ice blocks !!

  6. You have to hold your breath for 20 minutes to remove the oxygen from the water.
  7. Go one better than ice cubes. Pour vodka into those ice-cube-making bags and place in an insulated container filled with dry ice. When it reaches -27 deg C, the vodka will freeze.

Half fill an ice cube bucket with dry ice (to maintain the chill) and place the vodka cubes on top.

Guaranteed to liven up the party, especially the nominated drivers who are on iced Coke.
