Clansman HF dipole length formula?

One for the oldies I think!

Can anyone tell me the formula to use to work out the length of an inverted V dipole using the clansman antenna wire spools?

I set mine up this morning at a local church as a test prior to a station in september, and found that the standard dipole formula came out a meg low, clearly because I didnt take account of the effect of the extra wire on left on the spools. I had to shorten it down to 9m per leg to get it resonant at 7MHz.

I understand theres a graph for this on the body of the PRC320, but as I dont own one, I dont know what it would say!
