Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. a friend of mine has asked me to post this question for him.
Some time ago he recieved an Injury whilst recovering from an opperation and is now claiming against the mod,at the time of his injury he was downgraded,he used the chain of command to hilight the fact that he cannot deploy because of the recent opperation, however he was ordered to go and whilst on training for deployment he suffered more damage to the opperated part of his shoulder, mod insurance company (sun alliance) in defence of the allagation of negligence, are saying he should of made a more concious effort in informing the commanding officer, opposed to using the chain of command,
In short can anyone point him in the right direction to find in black and white where it states the chain of command should be used (QRs not very helpfull)

  2. I am nearly socially confused.......and it appears you cant spelll...bugger!
