#1 for the item in full ...

John McGuinness QC, appearing for Sir John Stevens, said there was no evidence these stop and search powers were being misused.
The powers would never be used against "the little old lady going to buy her bag of boiled sweets at the newsagents".
- perfect disguise then for a 'would be terrorist ....

He continued: "The greater good of everybody in these particular circumstances overcomes the individual right of any one person who does have the inconvenience of being stopped and searched."
Hmm, haven't we heard this type of statement before to justify state actions?
and the problem is.........??

The rights of one person do not over ride the rights of the many......except if you are an idiotic pc w a n k e r
