Last weekend I successfully (eventually) used Windows 7 restore to a previous state for the first time to undo a bad driver update. Don't know for certain (take advice from someone more knowledgeable) but if restoring to before the incident will work, it might save a lot of pain.

Truffles, who did you buy it from?

I've had this download thing pop up recently, ignored it as it seemed very fishy. Best advice when you get something like this popping up in future is to back off and then go directly to the adobe page for an update.

If you have had unwanted pop ups appear, the chances are that your computer is already infected. By ignoring it, you run the risk of a third party accessing your info by means of key loggers and other spyware. It might also allow other malicious software to use your computer to spread viruses and other crap to other computers on the web.

Both you and Bern might want to take a look at: http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/disinfection/5350

I got told to update my Java earlier.

I don't even drink coffee.

They are talking about an island which is part of Indonesia. You need to go there to renew your cough mixture for a small fee.

I've not had pop ups, just when I visit a certain website it redirects to a java update page (not porn before anyone asks.)

Think I've still got a bug?

Dunno. Won't hurt to check though.
