The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Whilst living in our own home we paid council tax of roughly £90 per month but only for 10 months of the year, so why do we pay the same amount for 12 months when in quarters ?? I know rates are different depending on what part of the u.k. you live in but civvies still only pay it over 10 months no matter where they live....
  2. Its the year amount divided in to 10 payments. Why they do it this way rather than 12 never looked in to. The coucil make out its some great favour not charging you the full year up front.
