Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. ......... at public expense!

No Christmas Cards are to be purchased or sent at public expense this year.

There is one exception to this strict rule. CDS is authorised to purchase and send Christmas Cards on behalf of the Armed Forces to his international opposite numbers at public expense.

    Happy Christmas!

  2. Anyone want to buy some Combat Stress cards bought early?

  3. Strange. I could have sworn I'd heard someone say there's no money.

There clearly has to be and loads of it if cutting back on such an unproductive use of public funds is worth getting outraged about.

Politicians, eh? Always with them negative waves.

If it's been sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk then I'm probably pissed.

  4. Good. Why does anyone need to send Christmas cards at public expense when we're cutting budgets everywhere so much?
