CHINA'S LIABILITY?

the growing weight of scientific evidence that suggests that the virus was prevalent in multiple locations before first being identified.
Yes there is evidence it was discovered far from Wuhan...then shipped there.

‘Crayons'...certainly about sums up your mental age.

As for time... your lack of logic or ability to refute facts more like. But then being from Hong Kong and a CCP supporter hardly surprising.

Interesting to see @endure found that brief post of yours ‘informative' and the dim orange root applauding it. Two more CCP fans?
Guess what you moron, I am not 'from' HK, although I have PR status, and being able to hold an informed, as opposed to knee jerk bleeding heart, opinion does not make me a 'CCP supporter'. You are utterly puerile.

Just out of interest, what do you know about Hong Kong apart from what you have seen on the internet?

Visited Hong Kong three times. Have had one friend and colleague born there, and other friends working there long term, and, able to form an informed opinion.

Then pray do tell why so many millions of Chinese seem to be having a ‘puerile knee jerk, bleeding heart’ utter rejection of the CCP and their policies.

Polite fellow aren’t you. Perhaps more indicative of juvenile behaviour.

Because the CCP's policies can be summed up as developing China and that inherently means Hong Kong won't be unique and special anymore.

Apart from the blow to pride, the practical effects of this remove the sole reasons for HK's wealth - it being a privileged entry point to China.

Folk don't like being told they're not special. I wouldn't expect you to know, I don't imagine anyone's ever told you you're not.

I found it informative because it was. It's obviously been posted by someone who knows what they're talking about rather than someone who gets their information from lunatic YouTube channels and the Daily Express.

Apart from that you appear to be stalking me which I find quite creepy so off to the naughty step you go.

Fast Forward to 1hr 52min. Talks about the origins of Covid and his own epiphany.

Bret Weinstein, evolutionary biology professor, and always a good value guest on Rogan.

This was informative???
"I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain this to you."

And no, you do not appear worth stalking.

Stand by for the outraged PRC denial.

'Dr Li Meng-Yan, a researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, had previously accused Beijing of covering up the outbreak in Wuhan.

'The whistleblower says she was among the first people in China to study the pneumonia-like illness after it emerged in eastern China late last year. But as cases appeared rose exponentially, she was told to "keep silent and be careful". "'We will get in trouble and we'll be disappeared'," her supervisor reportedly said. Appearing on ITV's Loose Women yesterday, Dr Li said she has evidence that the deadly virus was manmade.

'She explained: "The genome sequence is like a human fingerprint. "Based on this you can identify these things. I will [use this] evidence to tell people why this has come from the lab in China, why they are the ones who made it. Anyone, even if you have no biology knowledge, will be able to read it, and check and identify and verify it yourself." Dr Li fled to the US from Hong Kong earlier this year alleging that Beijing had attempted to silence her.'

It does however appear to have effectively, for a time, choked off the subject of China and possible liability in the world wide pandemic that has effectively ruined global economies.

There have remained doubts that China knew much earlier that there was a serious medical problem in Wuhan that should have been reported to the WHO very much earlier than was the case, and by doing so allowed a much wider spread.

China had initially stipulated it would only support an investigation into the origins of the virus after the pandemic has ended, which could possibly be years.

China also insisted the investigation must be led by the WHO. It could be conducted under the auspices of WHO, but if led by WHO staff, leaves doubt due to the already massive influence China already exerts upon the WhO

It has also been completely incomprehensible that such a world wide catastrophe has been investigated by the WHO in a manner that lays it open to serious scientific doubts about its scope and depth.

The team from the World Health Organisation tasked with investigating the origins of coronavirus did not visit Wuhan, raising concern from western governments over Beijing’s commitment to identifying the source of the pandemic.

A recently concluded three-week trip to China by the two-person WHO team did not entail a visit to Wuhan, the central Chinese city where the first cases of novel coronavirus were detected in December 2019, the UN agency has confirmed.

The WHO said the team was merely laying the groundwork in advance of a full international mission to investigate the virus but has been vague on whether this larger task force would visit Wuhan.

The WHO delegation was in Beijing for three weeks and got nowhere near Wuhan,

Dave Sharma, an Australian government MP has said that the international community is having serious concerns about the rigour and independence of the WHO’s early response to this pandemic.

Two experts? No visit to where the epidemic is said to have come from? Would seem pretty inadequate to even the least curious observer.

Whilst not doubting that the Chinese authorities made a real attempt to save face and avoid international scrutiny, by January the genie was out of the bottles, with large military aircraft moving large numbers of military doctors, and seen on the likes of the BBC.

So why did Western governments get caught unawares? Contingency planning should have started earlier.

Because Western Governments thought - or pretended - it was an even playing field.

PRC have been playing us as fools for 30+ years.

Because Western Governments thought - or pretended - it was going to go away if they ignored it hard enough.
That's more like it.

This is warfare by other means - and China is not our friend
That doesn't mean everything is part of a grand conspiracy, not does it mean we couldn't have minimised the impact by a better early response.

We do have to take responsibility for ourselves, you know.

What Covid - or the Great Silk Road ?
Both PRC.
And the UK's inability to get it's shit in one sock in response was presumably some nefarious foreign plot too?

Oh, wait. That was due to having an ineffective poltroon in charge who'd rather hide in a fridge than answer some tough questions.
