Cheney Advocates For ‘Military Force’ In Iran Instead of Negotiations

This prick apparently feels it necessary to top off his off-shore bank account because he didn't benefit sufficiently from war profiteering the first or second times around.

But the very last thing he would consider is getting kitted out and leading from the front when there are so many of "the unwashed masses" to send to slaughter.

I really look forward to the day I can read his obit!

The GOP's still full of his sort, unfortunately. Look at those pricks who drafted the open letter to Teheran warning they'd do their best to ensure the agreement doesn't survive Obama's presidency.

Ah good old Dick Cheney, never met a war he didn't want to fight...except of course the one he was eligible for which he dodged with all the gusto of an unwilling porn actress dodging a jizz shot to the face.

Dicks like Dick are what's making the GOP unattractive to anyone who bases their vote on objectivity.
The only Reason they did so well in the mid-terms is Obama's unpopularity & candidates' local appeal, rather than the Republicans having any redeeming qualities as a whole.

That's just his answer for everything.

Looks like he does have a wide yellow streak. From Wikipedia

In 1964, he married Lynne Vincent, his high school sweetheart, whom he had met at age 14.
When Cheney became eligible for the draft, during the Vietnam War, he applied for and received five draft deferments. In 1989, The Washington Post writer George C. Wilson interviewed Cheney as the next Secretary of Defense; when asked about his deferments, Cheney reportedly said, "I had other priorities in the '60s than military service".[21] Cheney testified during his confirmation hearings in 1989 that he received deferments to finish a college career that lasted six years rather than four, owing to sub-par academic performance and the need to work to pay for his education. Initially, he was not called up because the Selective Service System was only taking older men. When he became eligible for the draft, he applied for four deferments in sequence. He applied for his fifth exemption on January 19, 1966, when his wife was about 10 weeks pregnant. He was granted 3-A status, the "hardship" exemption, which excluded men with children or dependent parents. In January 1967, Cheney turned 26 and was no longer eligible for the draft.[22]

Given an 'informative' because for me, this was an unknown known.

That sort of US conservative totally winds me up.
Two days ago I had to walk outside and have an e-cigarette to calm down* as some (also never served) American who a few years ago had been whining and wringing his hands about how he didn't want his boy (who works on the deck of a CVN) being put into danger through an intervention in Syria, as it was "none of America's business"
The same was now throthing at the mouth demanding the US initiate a war on Iran right now!
When I pointed out his previous postion it was " this is Israel we are talking about!"

Cheney is one of the most loathsome people on this planet and second on my list of people (behind Blair but in front of George W) who I wish a long and painfull demise hopefully in the near future.

Fuck Cheney. Dealing with Iran and Syria is the only way to bring some semblance of stability to the region now that the West have ruined it over the past 40 years by persistently backing the wrong horses.

Has that throbber Rumsfeld crawled out from under a stone yet with an argument for "transforming Iran"?

So, just another war dodging cunt wanting to make money on the sweat and blood of (other) young men.

EDIT: It was this prick who ordered the disbandment of the Iraqi Army and Police Force. That worked well, didn't it? Cock!

That was Paul Bremer, the so-called "diplomat".
To this day he plays the "it wasn't meeeee!" card.

The tosser.

". . . as some (also never served) American who a few years ago had been whining and wringing his hands about how he didn't want his boy (who works on the deck of a CVN) being put into danger through an intervention in Syria,. . . .
That's odd. Many times over the years I have heard it said the flight deck of an aircraft carrier is potentially the deadliest work environment possible, so the young man is already in harm's way with or without Syria.

Well yes, exactly !
I think it accurate to say the young man in question ,in his day to day "routine" flying ops training with an actual real enemy nowhere in sight, would carry every bit as much probability of his not coming home in one piece as if his ship were launching operational sorties.

But it was the american conservative's attitude that, whereas in all other matters his son should be kept away from a war, since this was Israel, then bombs away.
