Charity Events? (H4H)

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. When the C1 came into place I started looking into a potential charity event within unit, it went onto the back burner a bit once training restarted.....

But I think it's still something I'd like to do but I was wondering if their was any official guidelines that I'd need to follow... The event I've got in mind is a bike ride covering most of my units locations, finishing at RTMC (http://www.sustrans.org.uk/what-we-do/national-cycle-network/route-numbering-system/route-67). I think I may have gained the support of a PTI - that shouldn't have been hard should it 8O

Doesn't appear to be hard to get organised, just a matter of staying over in a couple of TAC's, getting fed and transport back (I don't expect we will have lost the white fleet by then, which would be ideal to move bikes around).

Basically it's a stop whinging about your CFT and get on your bike, type of idea..

  2. p.s. I presume we'd be able to get extra bikes if needed from Army Youth Teams
