Charge/Major AGAI Time Frame?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Is there a set time between when the army know of an "event" that they can charge/AGAI a soldier?

Some say a month, some say no some say 21days...

  2. Depends if the CoC are in consultation with Army legal. This could take some time to ensure the 'Ts' are crossed and the 'Is' are dotted.

  3. The information that has been given me is that they do not know what they can charge/AGAI for so are looking into military law!

  4. There is no set time, except that a charge must be brought within six months of leaving the Army.

The CO should not allow any unwarranted delay but you are entitled to (politely) sask the chain of command what is intended and when you should hear of the decision. An unwarranted delay could be grounds for mitigation or a Service Complaint.
