Challenge East

#1
Hi there,

I have looked all over the forums for any reference to Challenge East incl. people who are attending etc.

if anybody out there is going or knows somebody who is, then maybe you could get in touch.

to all you guys and gals who have done a training event before, what am i to expect in terms of amount of time spent in the field on exercies etc
-during the 4 weeks basic that comprises Challenge East. my only experiences of the Forces so far is the ACF (if you can call it an experience...) and we spent most of our time sitting on our arses not doing much. in 3 years the only time i went out on an exercise and did any fieldcraft was when some of the junior cadets organised an outing themselves. the senior and adult instructors didn't give a damn

regards Vapian
