New (I think) episode of 'Not Forgotten' about conscientious objectors.

    On now 2000 Ch4

. Ian Hislop again and it should be interesting. Followed by a Time Team special under the fields of Flanders.

Probably worth a watch if you're at a loose end.

  2. Is it part of a bigger series? I thought it was just a one off.

I don't think so. Think it's a follow on from his previous (very good) programme about war memorials and a one-off.

  4. Well, it was interesting, and gave some food for thought.
I disagreed with the conclusion though.

  5. It was noticebly he got more excited about the mines being detonated
    than the conchies :D .
In a just society I guess room for conscientioues objectors .Apart form the kunt from the gunners should have been slotted .like pacfism it only works if everyone agrees.
