CFT weight

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Just a quickie - is the CFT weight 25kg with webbing? Or without?

    Cheers

  2. Infantry or other arms??

For the inf its 25kg however webbing has nothing to do with it really, what you carry it in is pretty much either down to the Regimental Policy or whoever is running it, however as far as the webbing goes you would be hard pressed to squeeze 55lb of usefulness into a set of belt order ;)

  3. Inf, so 25 kg for bergen and webbing sounds like...

  4. Including weapon.

  5. TA COMBAT FITNESS TEST (TACFT)

    INTRODUCTION

    • All procedures and conditions for the TACFT are as per the BCFT, but with a reduced distance to account for the lower training status of the TA.

    TEST STANDARDS

    • The test standards are:

    a. Complete a 4 mile march in a maximum time of 1 hour, but no less than 57 minutes and 30 seconds.

    b. The load carried for the test is inclusive of personal weapon and all ancillary items of equipment (helmet, CBA etc).
