CDS sides with CGS shock!

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Armed Forces chiefs call for more troops and helicopters in Afghanistan
General Sir Richard Dannatt, the head of the Army and Sir Jock Stirrup, the Chief of the Defence Staff, have called for more troops and helicopters in Afghanistan.

Sir Jock said his forces needed as many helicopters as they could get and were "busting a gut" to draft more into service.

Apologies if someone has beat me to this.
  2. Jesus! A pig just flew over!
  3. Bastard! I'm just about to leave my office, and now I have to sit down because I've gone faint with shock!
  4. **** my old boots - has he just been on a drill cse and learnt the "ABOUT .....TURNER"
  5. Ha! If I contribute nothing else to this board, I can at least claim a modicum of credit for your new sig block oil-slick!

Is that the greatest wah of all time or can I actually believe my eyes?????

Jock Strap has found where his b0llocks are? Can't possibly be.....can it?
  7. No wah..

I am wahless, completely lacking wah.
  8. Bit harsh - his DFC proves he knows where they are; no, it's his protection of his pension and his ambition beyond being a crab that he's worried about. Bet he doesn't know whether he's coming or going now.
  9. Consider this: he'd look a complete cheese if he didn't agree with CGS.
  10. So, in one corner we have CDS & CGS both saying that our needs are not being met ,
and in the other corner, Cyclops and his 'laddish, presbyterian sycophants' are saying HMF don't need any more kit, they have enough.

Now then, who do we believe?

    TB - OK - I rephrase...

Jock Strap has remembered what the word integrity meant.

    That suit you better?

Ooo, I had to think about that for about 0.0000001 seconds.

  13. There's leadership for you then.
  14. So that would be a hearty "WELL DONE, SIR!!" then, yes?
  15. We know. More importantly, who will the public believe?

I think we know that too
