Cats. Feline funnies and other stuff.

Definitely

Ohh, yes. That's the one. Grand Canyon or Rift Valley? Cannot decide.

Ah, just remembered this thread.

We've had our lad for a year now; he was semi-feral when we got him. We had him neutered (getting him into a cat box was a nightmare; he's big and violent).

Since then he's calmed down, but he's still big and violent. He likes to be around us; loves just sitting near us as a family when we're talking (he just appears when we do this), but doesn't like being mithered much. He won't sit on your knee, but will sleep on the bed.

Sometimes he's innocent, sweet and affectionate (he likes to do the head butting thing, at 4 am usually, when he wants breakfast), but mostly he's bad-tempered and just wants to be left alone.

This is 'wiggly fingers' under the duvet. He fvcking hates 'wiggly fingers'. I need to get a pin sharp photo of him attacking me, but he's too quick for my autofocus and/or shutter speed. I'll keep trying though:

And for some reason he loves rolling about in the dirt; it really annoys Wor Lass because he sleeps on our bed.

He's quite a character.

Indeed. Just as well I have two daysacks. He’s very possessive of that one.
BWB has taken to sleeping in Hogg juniors work holdall in the wardrobe. It's too big to carry round so he bought himself a rucksack instead. The holdall has been claimed! I came in from the shops to find BCB curled up asleep in front of the fire!

Ain't he just!! Handsome beast. I recognize a lot of that Maximillian.
My sis' (well, her boyfriend) rescued their cat Fluff from the slimy mud on Hull docks where some scumbags had thrown him.
They used to take him on their boat around the inland waterways of East Yorks. and Lincs. and, when they settled down for the night, Fluff would pop off onto the riverbanks to go a 'untin.
Early doors, he would return and a stinky, wet, slimy, muddy thing would slide between the foot of the mattress and the quilt towards the head alerting them that breakfast was required.

"Listen lads, just say that Dave nicked him, alright? If word gets out that Fluffykins nabbed the crim we're out of a job!"

Looks like the cat got the collar.

Just been to the chemists to get another kg of Viagra and saw their guard cat taking a nap:

That's not going to end well if puss doesn't stop kneeling on his neck.

Seriously, though, can you imagine the furore in the press here if someone got a snap or video of Plod leaving someone face-down and cuffed on the ground for more than a second, let alone without being directly attended/supervised/monitored (setting the cat aside)? Can't win if they sit on them, can't win if they don't!!

Thought I'd put this here rather than on the music threads, as the guy's cat videobombs halfway through (at 4.10)!

Beautiful Norwegian Forest, though clearly unhappy at lack of recent feeding.

His teeth look very worn down - is he old, or do you just put gravel in his Purina?

Possibly he's grumpy due to dental problems.

He doesn't seem to be in any pain and eating is his favourite thing, but he's due his injections next month so I'll chat to the vet about it when I take him.

I can't check; he'd savage me if I messed with his gob. I can only put Spot On on him by giving him half a tin of tuna (in springwater; he doesn't like oil) for dinner and doing it while he's eating. Even then it's touch 'n' go if he'll savage and spit at me.

He's a little sod.

The vet judged his age to be around five years old when we had his nads removed, that was a year ago, so he's about six we think.

Fixed.
