Two words: seventy gigabyte Day One patch. Well, that's four words but you get my drift, eh?
Because of a game like that, on the scale that CDProjektRed is talking about, is bound to have a massive amount of problems that won't be fixed in time for launch. I've been burned too many times through pre-orders from various companies that I don't do it anymore, even for a game I'd almost literally kill to play.
But eh, if you're buying a Collector's Edition of a game, you're not really buying it for the game itself, you're buying it for whatever choice goodies you get with it. And if the goodies are really choice, who am I to carp? Albeit my inner tight-fisted Jockanese is saying that "£250 is a helluva lot of money to spend on anything entertainment related".
