Carol Thatcher may be banned by the BBC after tennis ‘golliw

#2
Nothing wrong with the BBCs priorities then.

Saying that someones hair looks like a golliwog = immediate threat of a ban.

Making obscene phone calls/insulting women = 18million quid pay packet.

The country is fcuked.

Wasn't even said on air ffs

A BBC insider said that Chiles, who also presents sports programmes, was “very shocked” by the remark

Are you telling me this is the worse thing he's ever heard said in a green room, what a silly bitchy man

This from a man who deserted his wife and children for another trollop rumoured to be one Christine Bleakley - allegedly.

edit: mong spelling

The term 'BBC insider' almost certainly either means 'We made this next comment up ourselves to egg the pudding' or it's been made by some minor staff member who happened to be in earshot and decided to be offended on someone's behalf.

It's like the NOTW stories where the phrase 'a friend of the troubled Kerry/Ulrika/Jordan (delete as appropriate) claimed'. It normally means 'We made it up'!

To say that somebody has hair like a children's toy, beloved of generations of children does not seem exactly violently hate-crime oriented banter to me. Then again I was brought up in the 1960s when most people were not racialist, due to never seeing anybody of a different race bar the Irish.

Surely familiarity does indeed sem to breed contempt. Or is it merely a shrewd bit of business development from the race relations industry ("Making a mountain out of a mole-hill since 1976")?

Hardly the crime of the century is it? (or maybe it is, who knows in today's mad Britain). Then again having Carol expelled from the airwaves doesn't exactly fill me with a due sense of exhaustion and dread. The usual mountain from a molehill situation

actually I think she should be banned from our airwaves for being so wet you could shoot snipe off her. Stupid and unpleasant are cruel words but then again the truth does hurt...

I am also truly underwhelmed to the point of registering 0.000001 on the shockometer.

He is a cnut anyaway and I can prove it.
