Cardiff...

I'm about to move down to Cardiff. Currently I'm in the TA but haven't been trade trained yet. I'll have to transfer to another unit so I was wondering what some here might recommend. I'm pretty open minded.

RWR sounds good but the HQ Coy in Cardiff doesn't look like it will have infantry as such.

Right now 104 Regiment sounds very appealing. Is the Regiment still HVM equipped and is that changing now what with FAS?

Thanks very much.

Surely even a BHQ will have a Sigs Platoon? Such people are, in my experience, usually pretty good Chaps and not deficient in Inf skills.

However, there'll be more totty in a CS/CSS environment :)

Did they get reestablished recently, last time I worked with a Bn (CCRF) - their Sig Pln was just a det with no RSO. (Although a RSigs SNCO was 'jokingly' offered the job by his ex-RSO)
