Car Rental via TURO in UK ?

Incoming Sistah from Oz having little joy renting via usual suspects, Enterprise/Hertz/Avis etc

Asked me if I had ever used an App called ' Turo ' to rent a vehicle here ?

Nope, first on me....any UK based Arrser had any personal* experience of this system ?

Seems popular over in U.S, not sure it has taken off over here in UK ( insurance issues)?

I would be interested to hear from UK users.Strengths? Weaknesses? Value For Money ?
