Cap Badges

#1
Not really going to be a long thread at all, but I'm just wondering out of curiosity.

What exactly is everybody's favorite cap badge? Doesn't have to be around anymore - such as the WWII era cap badges / cyphers.
Mine's probably the KINGS to be honest!

12th Army mess tin repair unit, so secret only Sadusea knew where they were. If you have to ask then you dont know the colour of the riveting shed!

17th/21st Lancers say they don't have a cap badge so they don't qualify for a thread on cap badges.

Not technically a cap badge, the regiment called it a motto.
Ours was "we'd rather feck than fight" but it was a bit big without a wrap around banner so settled for a badge in stead.

The Highlanders has to be one of the best, and biggest!

Not only do you have to punch 7 holes through your head dress, being 3D with sharp antlers, its great for catching on everything, stabbing into your fingers and generally being a bugger to clean.

But of course, it need the Cameron of Erracht tartan behind it and the blue hackle just to make it really stand out :)

I love it!
