  1. Canary Wharf Trafalgar Festival

    Thursday, 15th September
    5.30pm - 8.30pm
    Montgomery Square

    FREE

An evening of festivities based around our Maritime and Military heritage. Come and view some of the historic craft taking part in the Thames Nelson Flotilla the following day from the Quayside of South Dock. These include HMS Victory's Cutter, The Jubilant and the Cutty Sark Jolly Boat.

Via the stage in Montgomery Square, visitors will be entertained by Ceremonial Displays including The Presentation of The New Trafalgar Despatch to The Lord Mayor, complete with Post Chaise, an Honorary Guard by The Company of Pikemen and Musketeers, nautical displays by The Sea Cadets. It will also evoke the feeling of a Military Tattoo, with both The Bands of The Life Guards and The Honourable Artillery Company providing first class musical entertainment. The evening will finish with a fireworks display.

  3. Being a few thousand miles away I'm not going to make it, but it was an email announcement sent out at work & looks as if it could be good...
