It's all about control. I got addicted to alcohol because of too much drink. Now back to normal.
It was because you are weak.

You drank too much because it gave you a reason to post on here.

Here's what you're undoubtedly drinking now as you roll around in the gutter and piss at the stars.

Oh well, thats totally alright then.
I didn’t suggest it was OK, but it is very different to physical addiction. Cannabis addiction is far more akin to gambling, porn or sex addiction. It’s a mental issue.

The key thing with cannabis use disorder is that it predominantly affects juveniles who use very strong cannabis. Legalisation should squeeze the supply of skunk and reduce availability to youth. It gets it off the streets and in to licensed outlets.

Of course, if governments choose to put a huge regulatory and tax burden on legal cannabis, a black market will endure.

The Canadians seem to think its addictive

Ever been to the Netherlands? Pot is decriminalized but you can still buy skunk on the street. Also under 18s can't use coffee shops so where do you think they get their drugs from.

Pot isn’t decriminalised in the Netherlands. Selling it is illegal but not punishable, whilst growing it commercially is illegal. Coffee shops buy their pot on the black market. If anything, Dutch law reinforces the point that bad regulation leads bad outcomes.

Read the Canadian document and you will see it describes Cannabis Use Disorder and the low risk of physical addiction.

My bold so it is addictive? I thought you said it wasnt?

As for the Dutch, why can you still buy Skunk in there country when you can just go into a coffee shop and buy an alternative? Do you not think that the reason its sold is because there is a market for it?

No, I said that cannabis isn’t physically addictive. Only 10% of users develop CUD irrespective of how much they consume. That is fundamentally different from physically addictive drugs like ice, heroin, alcohol and nicotine which are addictive to anyone.

The Dutch cannabis market illustrates my point that illegal growers push up THC levels to maximise output and so make the market. Legal growers grow what they are licensed to grow and get a licence to match demand side requirements. Bottom line, there is no legal pot grown or supplied in Holland.

And with regards to pot, Cali hasn't fallen to pieces - still chugging along nicely, bigger than UK's economy (1 single state > 1 entire country). And tech company employees are supposed to be some of the biggest pot heads.

Skunk, is it wrong? More and more teenagers are in two-minds, bipolar over this.

Its just the heroin, fentanyl, coke, crack, meth, and of course the hepatitis and HIV from tens of thousands of discarded needles, and galloping infections from turds everywhere that makes the place such a festering mess.

Maybe. Who knows?

But all the free booze supplied in the office every single week (yes, I could drink at my desk), airline travel, hotels didn't help.
You are still weak. Try using will power.
