Can England Win World Cup?

#7
Yes of course they can.

We did it in 1966, but will we win in 2010?

Can vs will?

On current form and with this squad - the time is nigh!!

I'm pretty sure the original question was a piss-take, but you seem to have taken it seriously, mucker. :)

Anyway, it's nice to see that blind optimism isn't quite dead.

2010 prediction:

Dodgy start ... scrape through the group.

Heroic performance in a tense QF.

Out on penalties in their semi final.

Same as, same as.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

That team will get royally raped by anybody halfway decent. Do not let dreams cloud reality.

England will go out, at best in the Semis but more likely in the Quarters.

Not that I care, I'll be Holidaying in an Inuit Village with no Internet, TV or Radio for the duration. I'll only be back when the last of those Chavvy Car flags are gone.

Oops! My apologies, mucker. I mean, the England team is so terminally fückin' hopeless that I automatically assumed it couldn't be anything else but a piss-take.

So you too are another one of the blind optimists. Well done! :D :D :D

Even the Inuit are aware of scousers and have already started hiding their seal clubs and Igloos.

Sour crapes bugsy, as Ireland wont qualify :)
Well, it actually clashes with the Hurling World Cup, y'see, and because we've only got so many fellas to go around, we decided to concentrate on the one event.

We're also the clear favourites in the Hurling World Cup, since only Irish teams are allowed to take part. :)
