Can anyone recomend a good Op TELIC book?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Can anyone recomend a good book by a Brit Commander from Op TELIC 1?

That is a list. You will need to try and sort out author's nationality though. There is quite a bit of English content in Fiasco. Note that most of them are available much cheaper in the secondhand selection. I can confirm that an obsession with Iraq fact based books can cost real money.
  3. Thanks ORC - but not what I'm after...

    Any other takers?
  4. Lt Col Tim Collins has got a good book out, and there is a book called wEEKEND WARRIORS by a TA reme guy on Telic 1 which is also a pretty good read.
  5. Dusty Warriors
  6. Dusty Warriors by Professor Holmes was my book of the year for 2006. Covers the PWRR tour in Al Amarah.
  7. Dusty warriors is not Telic 1. Tim Collins book is good as is Ragi Omars (spelling?) he was the BBC's correspondant in Baghdad during Telic 1.
